Biography

Vincent Hebert was born in Fall River, Massachusetts. A graduate of Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, he holds degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics. A lifelong musician, he always has had a passion for researching and writing and is a published author of numerous technical articles. Upon leaving corporate America, he now pursues his love of writing full bore while leaving out the technical part. 

He is currently the author of three books.

"My Stranger, My Grandfather" was ranked  #1 in World War 1 History and as high as #10 on Amazon World War I Biographies. It is a very personal, meticulously researched and detailed story about his grandfather, whom he never knew, his exploits in World War I, his struggles with life when he got home and how he secured his grandfather a Purple Heart 105 years after fighting in the historic Second Battle of the Marne. His new book, "Into the Depths and Other Stories of the Strange and Macabre" is an anthology of horror, science fiction, dystopian societies, suspense, murder, and ghosts. This anthology includes ancient, haunted mountains in the Arctic wastelands holding an abhorrent secret, a lost American squad that finds more than it bargained for in the closing days of war, madmen, ghouls driving a family to the edge of madness, an execution that is more than it seems and a few mysteries and murder for good measure. His third book, "Life's Blood", has been released. This horror thriller follows investigative reporter Frank Grasseli as he delves in the murders of young teenage children in Rhode Island in 1995. There are no clues, no motive. But these are eerily the same as the child murders Grasseli investigated in 1985, ten years prior, in South Carolina. He put that killer on death row. He thought that was the end of it. Now it’s happening again. In the same gruesome manner. As the murders pile up, Frank discovers a horror he never thought possible. With the help of a Brown University professor of Religious Studies, Frank follows the clues and delves into an ancient, dark world to find a serial killer…and the terrifying secret behind the murders. He and his wife Debbie reside in North Dighton, Massachusetts where they spend time with their daughters and their three grandchildren. Once the harsh New England winter kicks in, they snowbird to beautiful St. Augustine, Florida.
